Years back, when I was living in Saskatchewan, the local RCMP detatchment was beefed up from one copper to two (I think I mentioned the low population density) ... the new constable was John Feathers, his wife was called Lark ... I first met her at the local bonspiel ... great girl, wonderful sense of humour ... told me that if I laughed at her name she would shove my broom up where the sun don't shine ....
