a very good friend of mine was approached by the show and asked to appear (the show was aired in march) for those who watch it it was the one about the way people react to people who are "different" with the two little girls who have the ageing disorder.
my friend agreed to go on it because of the problems he had faced throughout his life because he was 1 half of conjoined twins.
it wasn't for fame or for money because he didn't get paid but to help highlight a problem with society.
he is by no means thick in fact he is quite the opposite and has achieved a great deal in his life far beyond the doctors and his parents expectations
