You started this thread, Mancie, and the premise you put forward was that the split at G20 had been caused by our continental "friends" pursuing some sort of extreme Tory line, while we were going for a more "sensible economic policy" (which, I assume, in your eyes means a more left wing approach).

In fact, the opposite is true. France and Germany want tighter regulation of financial markets to curb the worst excesses of capitalism, whereas we want less regulation. In other words, Mancie, you've been proved completely and utterly wrong.

Now is that clear enough, even for a Blackburn-born, London-dwelling plastic Manc?
