I do think they are a good idea but believe the users should have to pass a test of some sort to prove they are safe and competent to use one. They are quite heavy so would do some damage if one ran into a pedestrian.

I also think they are lethal on the road.

As proved by the news story, the lady using it was not fit too. She was unable to control it correctly. When tested afterwards it was fine.
