Pastry is as easy as.......well, pie I suppose.
Just keep everything cold, handle as little as possible,let it rest for an hour in the fridge, bake at the right temperature.......and voila.
Delicious concoctions that melt in the mouth and cost little to make.
I know Margaret ... have read your posts on this (and seen those plate meat pies on your blog), and will certainly refer when I need to cook things with pastry, just not on my diet list at the moment, not that I am on a diet or anything, have got used to not eating much of it over the years.
