You can take temps - your temp normally drops before ovulation and rises after - but this is only by tiny amounts... and you need a 'basal' thermometer - to work it out (it only moves by points of a degree)... if you go the route of temperature taking you need to take it every morning at the same time (or as close to it) and before you do anything... so you cant even get out of bed to find the the thermometer...
there are a few websites out there that are free to help you chart your fertility... google fertility friend (I think that is one)
