I don't know about Pendle, but Hyndburns MD has certainly done a good job, especially in regards to keeping council tax down despite the government giving us much lower than average grants. I can't however see how that justifies such a massive wage increase though when he's already on the £100,000 mark. Unacceptable in today's climate, any bonus for excelling should be deferred for later years.
