I refer to a letter in today's Observer from Brian Livesey regarding the late George Slynn. To attack a man that is no longer here to defend himself is, in my book the lowest of the low. I was never a great fan of Gorge or his politics, but I would never have dreamt of an attack of this nature on anybody. Whats more I can't believe the Observer actually printing this very bad taste letter in the first lace, but this is just another nail in the coffin of this once good local rag
