That's tough Derek, but parking tickets are issued to the owner of the vehicle, not the user at the time (not a criminal offence like speeding). You were responsible for lending out the car so will have to take the user to task. Can you imagine the cost if everyone were arguing that they were not the user at the time .. would cost a fortune.
Sure you will sort yer lad out though ... LOL.
