I have to agree with you on London Rindi, after the war my uncle decided to stay in the London area, he lived in Stanmore and came up here for his holidays every year. I can remember him saying that he'd live in Stanmore close on 20 years and the only people he knew was his next door neighbour. He liked a drink but stopped going to the local as he could stand at the bar for two hours without one person speaking to him, including the barman
