Curious....
Hello. I'm not from Accrington, but used to go there a lot in my long lost youth ! Ossy is my hometown. I stumbled across this site & have enjoyed reading the posts that have made me quite nostalgic ! I went to Rhyddings school, leaving in 57. I worked for a time for Thornbers Chemist in Clayton-le-moors.....I wonder if it still exists ? ( the chemists...not the town ! ) Anne Metcalfe worked with me...anyone know of her ??? She married a Harry Woods? & the last I knew lived in Water St Accrington.
I'll certainly be back !
