it made me smile that the actual passing of the theory and driving test was mentioned extremely briefly in passing and most of the conversation concerned what to drive etc - i remember reading something recently that said it now took an average of 3 tests (all at about £56? a go) to pass - not to mention the cost of the theory - which also seems to require multiple sittings these days judging by the people i know who have taken it - learning to drive is now becoming a very expensive business - some would say a nice little earner for some departments. There arent many people who can spend a couple of hundred or so for a weeks crash course and actually pass it - does anyone know anyone whos actually managed this? this then leads on to your standard £20 an hour and more test fees etc. As for recommending i can certainly recommend Green LIght - who i believe do crash course -
http://www.greenlightdrivingschool.com/ - believe me, if they can get me through my test (and they did), then anyone can!
