It's not a case of going out of your way to follow them.

If you read papers and watch the news, it's there.

Unless you've been held hostage and chained to a radiator in some far flung country for the last few months you can't fail to have heard about Kerry Katona's drug problems...........having said that, you claimed never to have heard of her at all.
