Does anybody know what the incubation period is for meningitis? My brother-in-law was admitted to hospital yesterday for the third time in four weeks and is being treated for meningitis. It just got me thinking if it had been in the incubation period for that length of time and has now just manifested itself. Anybody know anything about it? Just curious really, he is better today than he was yesterday but still quite poorly.
