Once a month i get 1/2lb of sherbet fruits from the sweet stall on the inside market.
The other day i got my usual sweets but when i got them home and tried one they looked and tasted different i though they may have just changed there supplier or the firm might have changed the sweet .
These where fruits with a white lines round them i though to be sherbet although the ones they normally sell had sherbet in the centre.
anyway i carried on eating these and the next day i was in town i went to the stall to ask if they indeed had changed the supplier the bloke on the stall said no we only get Stockleys as he took the jar off the shelf and poured them all over the counter then he said i am very sorry these are not sherbet fruits they have got mixed up with another lot i told him that's OK i will get the sherbet fruits next time to which he said no you wont and weighed 1lb of sherbet fruits out from another jar and gave me them saying sorry for the inconvenience we have caused you .
what a very nice gesture in this day and age.
