to me thats self explanatory ken, the guys put a large sum of dosh in the club, (maybe even over stretched a bit) the dosh already invested, he is unlikely to re-coup n i believe he already knew that when he put it in, ya can only stretch so far is my view.
if thats the case, to me anyway speaks volumes of the guy.
