Hi Guys, I just registered so that i could wish you all the best in your fight. I am a fan of Airdrie United, who some of you may know, rose from the ashes of Airdrieonians who were liquidated in 2002. I know exactly what it means to fight to save my club, and I hope you guys can do it.

You may also know that there is another Scottish club in Administartion at the moment, that being Livingston FC. There is however, very mixed opinion across the Scottish footballing fraternity, about their situation. Livingston have been a club who are in trouble due to spending other peoples money, not paying bills, over-spending on players, and not paying rent. They have also neglected to pay HMRC to the tune of hal a million pounds. This is the second time they have been in admin, in their short 14 year history.

The reason I bring this to your attention, is that they have a creditors meeting on 17th September, where they are proposing to pay their creditors 5p in the pound. At the same time they have been relegated to the bottom tier of Scottish football, while still paying full Time contracts, where crowds will be in the mid-hundreds, rather than 4 figures. I don't know what propsals you guys have for paying HMRC but if it is more than 5p in the pound, then it may be worth keeping an eye on the Livi situation, as it surely wouldn't be fair for HMRC to accept less from one club, than they do from another. there are surely a lot of clubs in the same situation of owing HMRC a lot of money.
