I went in that Lancaster (for a look round) at Blackpool airport about 35 years ago. There were only, I think, 2 still flying even then.

It's daft, as I was only 2 when the war ended, but I feel a great nostalgia when I see the Lanc or a Spitfire and they are 2 of only 3 planes I can easily recognise. The other's the Vulcan.
