It was easier to synchronise the engines on our aircraft, not sure why. Had a scary experience back in the late '60s. Sat in the car outside RAF Duxford eating lunch, heard an aircraft, didn't recognise it - single engined monoplane - then it got "bounced" by a Spitfire - Thought i was in the Twighlight Zone but it was the filming of the Battle of Britain film
