I suggest you invest in going on The Big Bus Company tour. you can book on line or pick up one of the buses outside Victoria train station. This double decker goes all round the tourist spots , has a courier on board and tells you about the history of where you driving through. You can get on and off the buses where you like during the tour and pick up another bus after you seen the places you want to see. some tours include a trip down the river and you pick up another bus at the end of all that. is a good investment and you see so much more than traveling on the tubes train. the ticket lasts you all day and i think you can buy an extended one for 2 days. look it up on the web before you go. personally as a Londoner myself i feel you get the best for your money that way and see everything. happy sightseeing,,,, oh and btw if travelling on the open top double decker and it starts to rain , they will provide you with a plastic mac free !!
