I think they are trying really hard here ... the articles this week/last week have been more dynamic and eye catching.

You all have to bear in mind that if MEN (Guardian Group) had not taken over our paper, then we probably wouldn't have one at all. Papers rely on advertising mainly, and not many of our local businesses (what's left) have the funds, so has been left to other areas to advertise in it, which they are willing to do in the hope that we will be a good catchment area for them.

I say support them at least.

Bet the original owners didn't come out badly on the sale to this group .. just like the past mill owners when we were sold down the river ..
