My Grandad was one of the first pupils. He walked it up to the new school from Cambridge St Church - as that was the school at the time.
He died a bit ago but I remember him telling me all about it. Been trying to research the history of it all - so has my sister - we are not sure how old my Grandad was at the time (Clifford Wilkinson) if anyone knows the details that would be great...ta very muchly XX
