In many ways I feel sorry for Rob. If he was an employee of a normal business then I suspect he would have walked away long ago. I suspect if he supported a different team he would also have walked away by now. If you hold the position he does for the team you support I think most people would prefer to try and fix it from within.

Rob is being made accountable by many simply because he is the only one who can speak to the press with any amount of eloquence. In most football clubs the Chairman is not only quite capable of doing that for himself, but also quite willing. It's also fair to say that the club's owner would also speak up in cases like this, as the ownership of the club appears to be subject to various opinions rather than fact I guess that rules that one out to.

I haven't a clue what Rob's qualifications of are doing the job so I can't say if he is capable of doing the job or not. Like any other business the buck stops at the top, Rob is not that person.
