I get the train sometimes. It can take over 2 hours from liverpool if you dont get good connecting times.
The Preston to Accrington train ride is no more than 20/25 minutes and is generally an empty train.
The walk to the ground from Accrington station is no more than 15 minutes.
I wouldnt bother with a taxi as their are shops/pubs on the way for refreshment.
