wireless xbox adapter = £50+ = can be laggy
long cable = £-10 = not a problem, better connection.

Its even cheaper to buy CAT5/CAT6 cable to length & 2 RJ45 wall plates/boxes, wire them up & use cheap patch leads than buy an adapter, if you cant buy a ready made cable the length you need.
