Yes, it has changed, maybe for the better, maybe not, but it is still my hometown, and when people try and take the p*** because of Stanley, I will still defend my home town - even though I do not like Stanley and haven't done since the early 50s, but Accrington is my home town. If yu don't like it gordie, there are many who will be prepared to point you to the exit roads, and will not be sorry to see you depart, going off prvious posts on this thread.

I am sorry Barrie that you appear to be a little upset with my thread.I am sure being a proud Accringtonian like you appear to be, you would defend your home town, but like the old saying goes.Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow.Maybe the bit about the football club is not correct but I am sure you know how this rumour as spread if you are aware of the recent football clubs ownership issue.When did ignoring or denying an issue fix anything.
