It just points out the fact that these kids were allowed to watch/read just about anything to be able to make these lies up.
Whilst I think kids today know far to much if you think back a lot of child abusers got away with things in the past because kids didn't understand that what was happening was wrong (if that makes sense). Now it just seems to have gone completely to the other extreme with kids knowing far to much and I find that very sad.
