boys get a £1 more than girls ....
A survey of 1,202 children aged between eight and 15 for the Halifax bank found that boys typically received just over a pound more than girls.
but i do actually like this bit :
While one in four children said they would save up if there was something expensive they wanted,
17% confessed they would rather resort to pester power to get it.
Thats quite a difference to when i was a kid .. i got £2 a week .. but when i got a paper round and thought i was going to be rich .. id have £4 a week instead of £2 ... my dad said your earning now - you dont get spending money!!!!
