Maybe Eric .. but it is not economically viable to have the equipment to deal with the snow that you have over there in Canada for maybe one short heavy fall per year. All these motorists winging on this thread would not be prepared to pay extra taxes I suspect to cover the cost.
I would very much doubt, however, that
you would have the skill to drive on our roads today after your soft option of driving on straight roads and a low number traffic count.
