I have read this forum for some years during my family history searches.
My Grandfather(John Robert Briggs)moved from Accrington to Slough in the 1920s and the family stayed there and in the surrounding area.
In case any relatives read your forum. J.R.Briggs was born 30th March 1868 in Crawshawbooth. His Father,Abraham was born,21st Feb 1840 in Clitheroe and his Father,Robert was born,1802 in Great Harwood.
J.R.briggs married Ann Hanson,Dec 30th 1899 at the Parish church in Rawtenstall,she was born 4th May 1875 in Gingle Holmes.
I shall continue to enjoy reading the forum and find the various photos great.
