Of late we have had concerned calls from (Danielle Hibbert) the hospital social worker in liaison with our care provider about how we are coping in this spell of weather along with calls from neighbors We are known to carers link run by P R T C (Princess Royal Trust for Carers) who are there, (we are told) for carers but where have the calls been from them? Have the care charities been ringing round checking if carers have medication, food, heat?

Bet they would soon ring us if a donation was due!


Roll of Honour

All the care workers at Broadfield Care services, Danielle Hibbert the hospital social worker, David Fenton Coal merchant of Darwen who delivered and carried the nine bags of fuel all the way through the house, and the kind lady from Wilkinson’s’ coal merchants of Great Harwood who offered to bring us some fuel that evening when she finished work and was to visit near here.
