I in my small way had I the resources to do so could construct a database of carers in an area and see that some contact with them was maintained by phone if not more, and more especially in weather like we have just had.

I could also think to ask carers did they wish to join in a circle of friends (Vetted as far as possible) linked by phone as the role of a carer is to many a role that isolates them from the outside.

So they have helped you, good luck to you and them but there is more to careing than doing when asked!

“An adult with transport”? Some may have this and still not be able to get out IN WEATHER LIKE THIS!



And children should not be primary carers at all. This role is too stressful for some adults and has lead to suicide.
