Aye Katex I can understand following orders, but the modern Soldier/Policeman now has more leeway to think for themselves, long gone are the days of Generals shouting "Over the top Lads" and the troops blindly going. The Soldier/Policeman should asses friendly/enemy assets,then respond accordingly in the way most possible to complete the mission. The Lass was in her house behind closed doors & she waved a knife, the Idiots who she felt threatened by left, there it should have ended, the Police come round find out the details and just mention in passing to her that she shouldn't really do that in future, so there was no need for a warning and for the event to cause such a furore, a little bit of common sense from the Copper instead of stating Book & Verse.
