By the way, this thread is simply titled 'fanatics', fanatics who appear throughout the world, and aren't confined to any one nation.

fa·nat·ic (f-ntk)n. A person marked or motivated by an extreme, unreasoning enthusiasm, as for a cause.

A Stanley supporter could argue their case here, or one of the party faithfull could push their politics, without veering off thread, or breaking forum rules.

To list them would be difficult, I get home once a year see friends and family, I talk with them and their friends, these are the people on the ground, real people who are experiencing the hardships and difficulties. Yes we have these assets in UK, but does everyone get a fair crack at them ?? you're the one for the headlines & articles, guarantee you'd find them if you look, but you won't because that would go against you. It would be wrong for me to say one town, city, district or area, as I am not there to confirm this, but before you decry heresy, why should the people lie to me ?

Again we run up against your tendency towards verbatim acceptance of the written word, an expression is used & you allow no variation to its' context in the discussion.

Even in "third World Countries" there is an availability of the specifics you mentioned, although rudimentary & rustic these facilities exist. show me a Country that has no roads, no healthcare( it may be a man with a stick & some beads who mutters away but for the people he is their healthcare). The Aboriginal culture managed well enough without Schools they managed to educate their youngsters, and they're still here today.

"Fanatic" some may consider the application of this epithet to you and your seeming desire to have things seen as you see them to be. Once more there appears to be no ground that you will not let stand as a fair assumption & allow it some credence, it must be your view or there is no alternative or compromise.

And I think you made a bad call on knocking the Stanley Faithful mate
