I wasn't a native of Accrington in those days, but I recall having a 'ball' so to speak at the Empire with the girl who became my wife and has been the light of my life ever since. Made some great friends there, too, many of whom we are still in touch with today.

hey i only know cos they were owd watering holes of mine, actually played darts fer the "Station" n they won league that season, but i can't take much credit,got barred about 2 months into season.
