Doug, I hope you don't mind, I've altered your first line to put the thing in order.
The burglars this week were in Accy,
But ran off when seeing it so tacky,
Desperate for some wacky backy,
Or a bottle of Japanese Saki,
They settled for some Chicken Teryaki.
