Must admit to never being up the Tower ever !!
I know, missed it twice as a Kid, school trip to the Circus but Had Mumps & Measles respectively. Then left Home Lived in Germany last 26 years, but always home for 2 weeks in the Summer usually take a run up to Blackpool/Fleetwood, but didn't bother 2007-2008, because in 2006 we went & it seemed so run down & "Dirty" also vastly over priced.
Went back to give it another chance last year & if anything I'd say it seemed to be worse despite all the modernisation & regeneration that has gone into the Town. I don't know maybe it's just me, but I felt like a stranger in a place I used to really enjoy as a nipper on day trips with the family.
