I Think you are all being a little unfair on this subject,How long do you think it takes to change your old £20 to the new ones.
In my case it took a short time,but then I didn't have thousands stashed away or is it millions.
In any case the deposit boxes are now or shortly will be empty and the lumps in the mattress will have disappeared.
In Spain when they changed to the Euro there was that much dodgy money about no one knew what to do with it but they coped.
Is it four years? Can't be far off. You can call me septic if you like but I know what's what.
