- Naming, by the Sunday Times, as the council 'best place to work'
Gotta' admire the guy for taking credit for all these projects.
NOT ONE WORD RE. KAREN BUCKLEY .... THAT IS BLOOMING DISGUSTING !!
Must be sulking.
Not one word about her anywhere in the Observer. Mind you, a gorgeous photo of lambs prancing gaily in the Spring sunshine.

He does himself no favours.
No matter what went on behind the scenes at the local Conservative Association, that's nothing to do with Karen Buckley, who's just been brought in to do a job.
Even before a big fight, boxers shake hands. Not to mention her, and wish her well, seems churish beyond belief.
Even if you're seething, and say it between gritted teeth, she should have been congratulated.
One to one he's as sound as a pound, and he is clever, but when it's muddied by his political ambition, he hasn't realised good P.R. isn't always about shouting about the big things. It's the tiniest detail that can make the difference between people liking you or not, and getting to where you want to be.
If only I'd have been a true blue, I could have been so much help to him.
Sadly, not being a member of any party, that wasn't to be.
