Hi to all members
grew up in clayton-le-moors (mum still lives there)
family originally from Darwen - moved to Barnes street where my dad had a bakery (next to Jack thornton's barbers)
worked at the Dunkenhalgh as a young lad then at Brockhall Hospital - which is what has brought me to this site trying to track down Alan Gilmartin who I worked with as an apprentice chef (all those years ago) -
happy to 'chat' with anyone about those former days!
