I bought an illegal copy of Songs the Lord Taught Us in 1980, and have loved them ever since.
Sadly lead singer and co-founder of the whole psycobilly movement, Lux Interior, died last year, and they've disbanded. Up until his death they were still touiring and thrashing about the world. I only saw them once in the late eighties, and they were utterly brilliant.
