Yep, required listening in lots of homes,to hear if a lad from the next street/area was mentioned, also think at one time the program was divided up with 20 minute sctions to incluce Malaya and Kenya where a lot of National servicemen were sent on 'active' duty to protect the Empire .
Saturday morning radio was for the kids with 'uncle Mac' and childrens requests, favourite from that show was the song ..."she wears red feathers and a hula hula skirt "
