A thousand apologies for not introducing myself before posting..eekk!! sorry!!
I was born at Baxenden Golf Club in 1945...but soon moved from there and lived in Crawshaw Street until 1957 (attended Hyndburn Park School)...was whisked from there to a children's home in Manchester after death of my Mum in 1957...then returned to Accy in 1960 and lived there until 1963, I then moved South..trained as SRN, retired, then lived in Spain from 2002 to 2008,, now live in Yorkshire...but as I have recently been reunited with my brother (after 52 years) I have a genuine desire to trace my family... I have already located cousins in Accrington and really looking forward to introducing my husband to the area..
