Ilyas is raising money for Leonard Cheshire Disability, a charity that supports many thousands of disabled people to live life their way. The money he raises will help the charity to continue working with disabled people at its local services across the country, whether it’s the residential services that offer 24 hour nursing support or nursing in peoples own homes, to day centres that offer a place to socialise and to make the most of wide ranging facilities that help build life and vocational skills, from gardening to getting a job. There are six Leonard Cheshire Disability services just like this within 18 miles of Accrington Stanley’s hallowed turf, that support hundreds of local disabled people.
