I am a person of principle john like you. I don't see much future for me if I lose. A narrow defeat, a new leader and a short hung parliament it would be sensible to try again if accepted.
All other scenarios leave me writing my book on The Clash and backpacking the world in stages in a few years. My politics will be Baxenden, Peel and Barnfield.
