Do you truly believe that? Sorry, but that post comes across as 'hang the planet' and I'm just a little surprised.
I'm not a tree-hugger but we've got to effect some serious damage limitation fairly soon or we're going to (quite literally) be in hot water in the future.
True, species do die out but in many parts of the world we haven't exactly helped to try and prevent it.
