I think your statement about me being on the track of it has thrown the others A-Bob. I think my first sentence is the one you refer to. Your second clue is the mention of Riston & Gt Harwood. So that may put the thing somewhere around Clayton (methinks).
The mention of de Petre drags me to the Dunkenhalgh, or somewhere around Altham West or even Clayton. Or am I completely wrong?
