What I'd like to know is what all the machinery is there. I have worked out (I think) that a machine that sounds like a huge food processor is actually breaking up large bits of concrete into smaller bits which is then fed into another machine that chews them even smaller.......
.....But what is that huge blue 'periscope' thing?
It doesn't look like an normal crane and there is a repetitive CHUG CHUG CHUG sound...Is it this blue thing? Or a large drill? And if so why would they be drilling holes when there must be sewage pies etc there already?

There is some " stone crushers " to break up the old rubble .
The drill thing is to make holes for long R.s.j.'s to go in as upright for the building , before they are concreted into place.
