Thank you to everyone for your kind comments. I will work as hard as I can. To have your name added after Ken Hargreaves and Greg Pope is a huge responsibility.
After 10pm close, we went back home to the Stanley Club and Sydney Street Club for a quiet drink before going to the count. The people were fantastic even though the result was uncertain.
For me it's about keeping your feet on the ground, not about living in a big house on the hill.
