Agreed, but in the period of of him taking office in 1933 upto 1938 as a political leader, Germany developed in leaps & bounds. It was his insistence on forceful annexation in the later years that led to war & ultimately the demise of any good he had achieved in previous years.
His conduct from 1939 onwards was wrong & illegal & since that time successive German Governments have taken extreme measures to prevent a rise of a single power/party in their Government to stop history repeating itself. Since 1949 the FRG (federal Republic Germany) have had a coalition Government to represent its people & despite its internal problems Germany is still seen as a powerful industrial Nation.
